2014 HIGH SCHOOL SEASON
IN THE NEWS
It has been a memorable Fall season for the members of this PFC U18 team. They have played key roles in the successes of their high school teams at Mentor High School, St. Ignatius High School, Perry High School, Hawken High School and University School.
While still cheering on their St Ignatius teammates at the State Championship, the other PFC team members, including one college freshman at CWRU, have already begun practicing for the upcoming tournament in Bethesda.

St. Ignatius rallies to beat Hudson 2-1 in Regional Finals
St. Ignatius beats Hudson, 2-1, in the OHSAA Division I, Region 1 final on a cold, windy Saturday. With the win, St. Ignatius qualifies for a trip to the Div. I State Semifinals on Wednesday when they will take on Copley. This year marks St. Ignatius first regional title since 2011. Read the full article here. Ryder Bell scores four goals to lead University School past Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin
Senior striker Ryder Bell scored four goals as US recorded a 5-1 win over a strong Lions side in the teams’ first meeting since 2008 and first in the postseason since 2001. Our PFC 96/97 player, Kurt Raney of Mentor, was chosen the Player of the Week for October 16, 2014. Kurt scored all four goals in a 4-2 win over North Royalton and also had an assist in a loss to Strongsville. |

Our PFC 96/97 player, Miguel Espinoza of Perry, was chosen the Player of the Week for Aug. 28, 2014. Miguel scored a hat trick to help Perry come from behind to beat Harvey, 4-3. He also scored six goals in the first half in an 11-0 shutout of Berkshire and five in an 8-3 win against Fairview. |
